I watched a programme about feral children a while back and it was fascinating, apparently through years of research they have found if a child is caught (found and taken into human care again) before the age of 3 they have a good chance of becoming what we would call “normal” members of society learning to speak and think and act like humans, however some of the kids who were brought up by dogs a lot longer never fully integrated back into society, I remember one girl never really learnt to speak properly again, when they first found her the video footage was shocking she was on all fours walking with ease as a dog would but in a way most of us would find very difficult, she was barking and panting, she had been raised by a pack of dogs….there were several stories like this lots from Russia area all very amazing but really very sad too that nobody missed these kids who went missing.
