Mitzy, Staffie X Lurcher, DOB 12.09 - Gatwick

Mitzy, Staffie X Lurcher, DOB 12.09 - Gatwick

Homing Requirements: Mitzy needs a stable loving home inclusive and with at least one other dog. She has been around horses and yard cats so this could form part of her home landscape. She needs companionship so an 'at home' situation as she suffers separation anxiety.

Her Story: Mitzy's age and vax history (March 2010) history was revealed through the vet that chipped her. She was found sitting on a strangers doorstep for 3 hours...bless on the 13th Sept 2010 and the family on the chip denied ownership. She ran out of time in the pound. We neutered, she was already vax’d and chipped. Mitzy was fostered with a Terrier & Collie. She was homed soon after in with a very young child and her owner who has a horse. She demonstrated that she needs the company of another dog but proved too interested in a foal in her brief new homing. She has developed chase instinct and now needs a training home.

Advert: Mitzy is 22" to the shoulder and 1 year old. Mitzy is wonderful around children. She is good with most dogs, cats and horses, but not livestock or 'young'. She has a lively tender energy and shies away when told off. She is gentle in her approaches. Meets new people in her kennel but was wary in her brief homing. People love her on first sight and before you know it she is folded in their arms, snuggled into their chest and in a deep loving embrace. She is young, adaptable and eager to learn. She needs clear house rules and loves training. All efforts made to help her will be rewarded 10 fold by Mitzy.

Mitzy is still finding her way, adaptable and wanting to please you. She knows about sit = treats. She walks well on an extender. Recently she became nervous of meeting people. Mitzy would love to live with another dog or 2. Pretty, gentle and sincere in her relationships.

"Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".

If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

Mitzy certainly is a popular girl at our kennels. She is a beautiful girl and I can't imagine her being with us for long. Leom and Kerstin were loving spending time with Mitzy. She's a very gentle and affectionate, dainty lady. Mitzy that is!

Keeping watch (for the bacon sarnies)

Mitzy is a gorgeous looking dog, so gentle and soft, with big eyes! She has a beautiful energy...you can't help it...you just love her! :love7:

Go and give Mitzy the chance of meeting you! I bet you won't be able to resist offering her a foster or even forever home! This girl soooo deserves some TLC and home comforts!

If you are interested in fostering Mitzy and giving her a break from kennels until her forever home comes along then please get in touch.

If you are interested in re-homing Mitzy please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.
