There's something very 'noble' about birds of prey.

Great pics Phil. I'm a huge fan of birds of prey, my favourite being the Eurasian eagle owl It's amazing how something so big, can be totally silent when flying, even when it's inches away from you

We have a lot of birds around here, mainly buzzards and our resident barn owl One evening while my daughter and I were walking through the long barn, the owl flew over our heads. We didn't even know until it appeared in front of us

where we live were close to the mourne mountains and the buzzards fly around quite often,i love birds of prey and would like one when the kids leave home, but theres something about seeing a wild bird of prey hunting and doing what it does, when i went to kansas 2 years ago, the bald eagles seemed to be everywhere and i had my sister driving across rough ground to show me them she was used to seeing them wild but i wasnt and there majestic, thanx phil for this thread im real chuffed

I will add some better pics once I've found them.

The Baldies in those pics are just amazing but I will never forget the the Condor - must post the pics.

Another great one we did was Red Kites near Inverness.

We also have a fantastic Osprey place just up the road.
