Do your dogs feet smell?
Having an interesting conversation with a couple of doggy friends the other day and wondered - Do your dogs feet smell? If so what of and what colour are the pads. Have you ever been told why they smell or looked into it further?

Fingal's pads are sort of browny grey and tough as old boots.
Skye's pads are dark grey and not so rough
Breagh's pads are jet black and are really soft as she's just a pup.

On a very hot day you can see damp pad marks where a dog has walked with sweaty feet if you happen to have a dark floor.
So yes dogs feet can smell a bit but but I quite like the smell
