My lab and my daughters gsd loves raw frozen sardines. I can't touch them though so she only has them when my daughter comes to visit. She says it's like feeding penguins.

Teg won't eat raw fish, likes cooked or tinned though.
Hocus has only had tinned so far, will have to get a fresh one for him to try.

Glad the fish didn't reappear!

I have never seen fresh or frozen sardines here, and only once have I seen frozen mackerel. Tinned sardines, which Pereg would consider only one mouthful, cost ~£1 per tin, and the only tinned mackerel I have seen are smoked mackerel, which cost ~£2 for a small tin.

So the only fish Pereg gets are cheap white fish fillets [Arrowtooth Flounder or Alaskan Pollock] which she loves. No useful Omega 3 in them though but she has Omega 3 FBO capsules to make up for that. [I could give her Nile Perch which apparently has the most Omega 3 of any fish, but it is too expensive for this old meanie who keeps it for herself! ]

If I could get fresh or frozen sardines and mackerel I would be in my element as I used to love them.
