Bentley in for neuter today :(

Dropped my boy off at the vets this morning after deliberating for hours on end about whether it was the right thing to do. Thank you all who offered advice
Please send healing vibes for him and wish me luck for the next few days, I'm sure he won't understand why he's not allowed to run and bounce
Any advice for anything I can do to make it easier for all of us?

Aww, he'll be fine. Big hugs from me and sloppy terrier licks from Tilly. A stuffed kong or bone should keep him quiet. He'll probably be quiet tonight but they seem to bounce back so quickly. Hope he's back to his bouncy terrier ways soon. xx

That's mine and the vet's concern She said she wouldn't be surprised if the left over scrotum ( ) fills with fluid because he's so bouncy, and it may not even look like he's been done. It's going to be hard work keeping him still!! Do any of you advise having his crate handy?

Thats a nice thought!!
If he's happy to go in his crate, it wont hurt to let him spend some quiet time in there. Just give him a few things to keep him busy. I hope he's doing ok.

When I had Flint done I picked him up from vets and I honestly wouldnt of known he'd had an operation! He came out, tail wagging, jumped strait into the car and as soon as we got home, he trotted off up the garden and wanted to play ball!
We kept him quite for a day and kept him on lead whilst walking, but we had a very big garden and couldnt stop him belting around..it did him absolutly no harm though.

Hope your boy recovers well, im sure he'll be absolutly fine

Just to let you all know Bentley is back to his usual mischievous ways
He hated me on Thursday and only wagged his tail when 'daddy' came home but we are back to normal now. He's a little bit bruised and swollen but doesn't understand why his walks are so short now!
Thanks for all your well wishes xx
