A rainy walk at Baron's Haugh

The other day I took Jake for a very wet walk around one of my favourite places to walk! It is a gorgeous place, and unfortunately it is very dull in the pics and doesn't do Baron's Haugh any justice at all!

The rain, and a big puddle!

I made Jake pose under a tree

I love this pic

Then he went off for a wee wander...

Then zoomies!

Then I braved leaving the cover of my tree, and off we went

Jake having a nosey, in the hide…

The ducks…

Jake spied the ducks…

A tired boy back home…

I think he enjoyed his walk, even with the rain

Lovely photos In a couple of them I think I can actualy see the rain comming down but Jake had fun and I don't think they worry about rain too much, I just love that last one where his eyes are saying it all "Thank you Mummy for taking me on that walk"

Yeah, he loved all the puddles... although, he nearly had me in the big puddle in the pic! There is a road running along side it, and although it is an extremely quiet road, I always put in on the lead just in case... so I was nearly dragged in too although there were lots of other puddles for him to jump in

Thanks I would've jumped in (I was already soaked so that bit didn't matter) but I was more worried about my camera and mobile

Yeah the pics at the start, with him running around, you can see the rain. It was really heavy at that point, it is raining in the other pics but coz it is lighter when they were taken, you can't really see it... When it was on heavy though, it was the rain where you are out in it for a minute, and are completely soaked... fun! Jake had fun though

I like when it rains coz it is quieter, and can mean a more peaceful walk I think it can be quite tranquil walking in the rain

magic, i was there on saturday, we managed to be under the trees during the showers! We started in carfin, then dalzell estate paths, barons haugh, then a sleep at my mums (for us both).

ive got a pic of maddie spark out at the end as well, will post them later!!

i got a bit lost after passing all the twitchers huts, ended up coming out in camp street! had to enlist sat nav on the phone to get me out of there, walked through mwel town centre. Wasnt sure what people would think of a gsd in the pedestrian street, and met a lad with a 1yr gsd coming the other way. Not that maddie bats an eyelid, but i didnt want others to be scared of her.
