It's in Glen Derry, just beyond Braemar. It's the landrover track that leads to the Cairngorm Range. The river is River Dee (as in Royal Deeside)

He was shattered (as was I ) been a while since I been there so was just a walk along the track. My old dog Jess used to do all the tops with me, she climbed almost every mountain in the UK, hopefully Jake will too eventually. He seemed to enjoy it anyway.
