I used to have a slow cooker and never browned the meat first. I used to just chuck everything in and switch it on lol!

ooooh we have bought stewing steak this week for stews and loads of carrots for a massive pan of carrot and bacon soup!

also OH's pea and ham soup!

or chilli, lasagne, bolognese

but ultimatley

the stew wins!!!

Lancaster Hot Pot or Stew and Dumplings.

For pudding it has to be either Bread and Butter or Rice pudding which has been cooked in the oven with cinnamon all over it.

definately stew here - favs are beef or chicken with me but the men of the house will eat pork stewed.
