Crazy: Axel the dog is thatcher's rooftop companion

Looks crazily dangerous to me!!

A thatcher's seven stone rescue dog goes everywhere he goes - even up on rooftops when he is at work thatching.

Axel has to be carried up and down the ladders, but both owner and dog seem perfectly happy with the arrangement.

Saw the interview on TV last night apparentley as a puppy he was put up onto the scaffolding boards(first floor level) cos it was too dangerous to let him run around the traffic on site! and one is more dangerous than the other! NOT

I feel sorry for the dog
Has no choice in it...can't get down if it wants to, can't even really walk around!

Saw this featured on our local news programme last night and didn't really like it. I will be surprised if the "elf an safety" lot don't intervene!

Goodness, I wouldn't go there with a dog with the obvious danger but what a lovely relationship they have.

Lovely trusting calm dog
the main reason I wouldnt do it is the dog cant wonder around so really would be better off in the car - or staying at home
