Help save the planet - Earth hour 8.30pm Sat 28/03/09

Thought this might interest some, I didn't know anything about it

Basically wherever you are at 8.30pm on Sat night turn the lights off for an hour. Candles are now on todays shopping list

I`m putting on a show at a local theatre at that time. Not an option, really!
I know they are suggesting it from the best of motives, but I don`t think it`s a very good idea. Especially if you`re on a ventilator. Or the motorway.
The Earth Day idea was a good one. We used to put celebrations and stuff on to mark it. What happened to that?

I think it's a brilliant idea providing it's do-able.
