Flowers and Weeds

Why is a flower a flower and a weed a weed.?
What make's a weed not a flower.?
Hope in my old age i am making sense...lol

yes & who decides what is a flower & what is a weed!
The only thing I can say is that weeds are much easier to grow than flowers

A weed is a plant thats in the wrong place

It is very simple.

Flowers are plants which die in spite of loving care and attention, fertiliser, pruning, feeding, spraying etc.

Weeds on the other hand, grow any place, any time, anywhere, even on bare stony ground..................

I have some very pretty weeds in my garden...... and I'm letting them stay.... for now....

I like that! There are some pretty weeds out there arent there.

I've never ever been a gardener but this year we have a new garden to fill, completely blank canvas (pile of mud when we moved here!). I'm quite enjoying picking out lots of different plants and some of them appear to not have died yet....
