Emily 3rd in handling 12-16 years handling a borrowed Spanish

That's both girls now qualified for Richmond 2011

We have a lovely BOB certificate and Trophy too!

The lad got extra chicken from our roast last night

We went to the Basenji Club Show on Saturday. Maya showed her beautiful little socks off, i couldnt be happier with her She won her Limit class and also got Best Tricolour. Had some very nice comments outside the ring from people i've never met before so i was very chuffed with that, i love the club shows!!

We didnt enter Darlington on Sunday, not sure why....!

Well done all who had a successful weekend!

Excellent well done!!! I enjoy club shows too, especially as we get great entries. 155 dogs entered on Sunday for us, it was lovely, more than several of the champ shows!!! Do you find the same?

Yes, i think we had 46 entries which (unfortunately!!) is very good for basenjis. At most Champ shows we seem to get between 20 and 30 entries.

I enjoy the whole atmosphere at the club shows, it seems much more friendly than at a general champ show, everyone talks to everyone else which doesnt always happen normally.. And the basenji folk are generally a lovely bunch!

well done everyone thats been placed at recent shows! I havent got any more shows booked this year Back at college now, and it gets harder and harder to get my sister to stay and look after the other dogs while we swan off to a show for the day! Think I will do LKA though although not to bothered as we are all qualifed for crufts here..But I do still like having the days out, meeting up with friends and showing the naked kids off.

and Jessica I agree club shows seem to be far more friendly.
I would like to agree and say the CC folk are generally a lovely bunch but I would be lying.. nothing like our lot!

Its one of our breed champ shows in 2 weeks and I also love the friendly atmosphere around the rings - a real buzz

I get to see many more people than I would normally see - esp. as I have hardly done any general champ shows this year.

Really looking forward to it. and yes alot bigger entry than a gen. champ show.

Try a poodle breed club show.. Far from friendly

No shows for me until 11th of October I think. I've soo fell behind when it comes to filling out entry forms but on a positive that means Blu's coat is growing more because no scissoring. I don't have any clippers either so it's a good job..

Decided I want to do 1 more CH show before Crufts so either BUBA or LKA to finish the year off. Told dad no more going to England for shows this year.. Who wants to tell him for me?
