She doesn't seem to be so bothered with playing as much as when first came, likes to chase n fetch her ball for a few minutes but often goes after the ball n then leaves it to start munching(i did try different toys). She doesn't do it so much at home and has been better with just the two of us these past few days(on walk). She is fed a vet diet dry/wet grain free n three times a day(in kong n treat ball) with some dry on our walks(treats limited) so her food is little at a time.
Thanks once again everyone for your help.

I used to think this, but it's not really true.

Teagan loves eating spring grass, she goes out and grazes for about 5 mins at a time, a few times a day!
She is never sick from it though!

When you say dry/wet diet do you mix the two together? It can upset some dogs digestion as they digest at different rates. It is usually better to give either dry or wet at seperate meal times to help with digestion if you think there may be a diet issue.

In my case it is true one of my boxers would eat long grass blades to make himself sick when he had a billious stomach this was guaranteed to produce a large amount of bile. This was not regularly but the only time that he ate any grass.

Thankyou, i don't mix the two and have tried alternating to see if made a difference but it didn't. Have also started giving the old 'Bob Martin' conditioning tablets again(the vet said wouldn't hurt), wondered if there was a different or newer alternative at all(herbal mix of some kind maybe) if anyone knows would be most grateful. She hasn't tried to eat or chew anything else(so far) this past week n am sure us both being more relaxed is helping a lot too.

It does appear what works for one dog doesn't always work for another.Ruby my present boxer doesn't do well on grains so I don't give her any grain.Basicly I feed her raw meat and bone which she seems to do well off.I make a herbal mix of my own by mixing equal quantities of dried seaweed, parsley and nettle then add some water or drained water from cooked veg. I pour this over her food to give her the extra vits. and minerals. You could try this if you think it has anything to do with lack of nutrients. You don't need to give much, maybe 1/2 teaspoon of each a day.

Hi, you may wish to try Keepers Mix, it is very popular or Easy Green in the summer

Another product you might like to try is Tree Barks Powder, made from Slippery Elm both Hilton Herbs and Dorwest do these and is excellent for soothing the gut.

Yep Hiltons are great, if you email them, they reply by return. After spending hundreds upon hundreds on vets on a problem, saw advert for Hiltons in a dog weekly many years ago. For less than £10, they cured the dogs problem.

Ive not used Dorwest but know folk who have.
