Name change ?

As you know Boabz has recently moved in with Toro and Inka, my problem is his name BObo is so close to Toro it is interfering with training, inside and outside...he really will answer to anything as long as hes getting attention...
I like soldier, so he will possibly be known as soldier from now on just so theres no confusion on here

What do you think ?

Occasionally as dogs pass from one place to another in the dog guide program, their names are changed, and they seem to do all right. I think you are right.

I dont see any harm in changing it. My dogs have about 5 nicknames each, lol, and they understand each one!!!

On the other hand, my mum's neighbour has two Collie crosses, brother and sister, bought together as pups from a farm 6 years ago. They are called Bonnie and Bobby and yes, they know their own names, despite the similarity.

Sounds like a good name change! I figure that many dogs have to go through a name change at some point. They're picked up as strays and rehomed or dumped at a shelter and renamed. I have no idea what Dahlia's name was before but she adapted to her new name quickly!

Soldier's a great name for Bobo.

Good name!
I changed my greyhound's name from Heidi to Holly. It took her about 1 day to get used to it!!
She doesn't respond to heidi at all now.
