It's not a guarantee. I'm not sure, but look at human pregnancies, 50% run smoothly full term, the others...

I really dont mean to sound horrid,

but I feel your really going to struggle with this, given you dont have basic knowlage of breeding,

I would try to find a breeder asap to guide you through this.

Also be very prepared to lay out a lot of cash....my last litter of 11 rottie pups cost me £3200 to rear.

you could start by getting the book of the bitch, read it from cover to cover

but get someone experianced to help you...

its never a good idea to jump into breeding without knowing what your up against.

They are all commonly known risks, which is why breeding is discouraged unless done by those who know their breed and breeding inside out. Its really not worth the heartache of losing your dog when a simple spey could fix the original problem.

I really appreciate your advise, how do i go about finding a breeder? she has had 2 or 3 phantom pregnancys so does this mean she is more than likely to have complications?

Yes you can. The sooner the better. There may be more helpful people come along who can advise of other help available.

Hope that helps...and welcome!
