Awww poor Star

Ever since we got Star he has never gone in my bedroom, all the others do and treat my bed like theirs. I have just been doing some tidying up and Jake and Skye bound in as normal and start fighting on my bed, while Star stood at the door, i called him in and he poked his head round the door at Lou the cockatiel (he lives in there and acts like a room alarm) had a scared look on his face and backed right back out the door. So after almost 3 years i have found out why my room is off limits to him, Poor little Lou is scared of Lou, Lou can be a nasty peice of work but has never done anything to Star. He has dived bombed Jake and Storm in the past but never Star.

ian our 2 have only been allowed to mix with the parrot once, tob got in her face and she nipped him on the nose, he soon backed down.............lol
i don't let them mix cause if she flys they will either be scared of her, if she knows she can rule em she will.
or they will go after her and she will get hurt.

Mine only mix when Lou is in his cage as he will dive bomb them and Jake will take it as an other of a fight, and when he did in the past he came of worse.
Stars ok his trotted off to the chippy, no doubt he will get a little something to calm his nerves after the naughty bird dared look at him.

If your bird is anything like our cockatiel Charlie (rip) Its no wonder Star is scared,I have had Rottie's, Rottie X GSD's and now a Staffie, and all of them together have not caused the damage that bl**dy bird did in our house.

PS Still miss him though.

well next time sky is being sky you can borrow her for a bit.........lol
she doesn't do damage which is a blessing, she hardly flys she would sooner hold on to the cage and flap.
she likes geting her own way though so be warned, she gives me more grief than both the dogs put together so i know where your coming from.
my sister has a hand raised cockatiel shes fine with dogs etc i wonder why some are and some ain't.
