oh Ailsa, My heart absolutely sank when i came on and saw this thread.

But as you have said - he went to sleep with absolute love felt everywhere and you did the best thing for your friend.

Biff was so well loved that he is bound to leave a huge, aching gap in your life and heart. Remember how much joy, fun, laughter and love you shared with this special old gentleman and please take comfort in the fact that he couldn't have been more loved and had the most wonderful life with you.
