They are so cute and so nosy....they don't seem to mine me sneaking up on them too much. Although they do chatter at me which was a bit of a shock as I had never thought about them making a noise,

Its so great to watch them play in the trees...gonna miss them when the leaves open up as I probably won't be able to see them as easily

Awwww Het, you lucky, lucky thing!!! Fantastic pics and wonderful to have those in your garden to watch on a daily basis You really ought to contact the Springwatch team to come and do a photoshoot at your gaff - make sure you've done your hair first though!! Thanks for making my day, these are my absolute fav's, apart from those little doormice that is - I don't suppose ......?

Sorry Helena, haven't seen any dormice though I am sure they are there somewhere. Have some nice Woodpeckers though...and a pair of pheasants who have started to hang about the wood regularly...so maybe some pheasant chicks??? and maybe some squirrel babies if these two are a proper pair.

Definitely not for Dogweb Het!! But there was a lot of bacon involved and a lot of nice young men in white jodphurs playing Le Crosse (sort of polo) on horseback, and it was a really hot day and some of them climbed into the drinking trough coz they were soooo hot .... are you getting this picture!!
