This is all your fault Jessica!!!!/Hamster

Well Jessica - I'm blaming you for this one - your lovely pictures of Esmarelda made the yearning to get another Syrian too great

So here is Twinkle the hamster

We used to have another hamster called Twinkle that looked much the same as this one and she was the best hamster we ever had - she was really tame and never bit anybody










There were more beautiful hamsters there but I saw her yesterday and she seemed to have something special

Yes it had a lucky escape because it was nearly called 'Louis' There is a little boy in her class called Louis Sangster and Rhianna will keep calling him Louis Hamster - so she was going to name it after him - but fortunately changed her mind when she found out it was a girl hamster

Yes Twinkle does suit her better I agree

She has got a bald spot either side of her muzzle but thats with gnawing the bars on the cage she was in I expect - my other one used to lose hair there too

Twinkle is a great name, I hope she turns out to be lovely and tame.
