Pleasedyou like your new toy Azz!!! OUt of interest would you recommend a PS2 or Wii for a 7 year old??????

Wow sounds great Azz, i'm a real gaming gal myself, we have 'em all except the Wii (far too much energy needed, have an eye toy and that is bad enough) PS3 still a bit too expensive for me although OH is drooling after reading your description, will have to hide his wallet now!

Ramble, i would go for a wii as its the only games console as it gets the player moving and not just sat there.

Azz, Thanks, yes, many people in different places I've been have told be about Linux being better (Speed, security etc.) If I was more computer orientated I doubtless would opt for Linux. I really hope you enjoy all the games, I hope all 'gamers' do, I don't see any reason to knock people who like something which is fun & harmless, but I already get told by OH I'm spending too much time 'on line' so heavens knows what she'd say if I did start 'gaming' !!!

ive sneakly bought one for my OH as its his Bday nxt month.
hes bin waiting for the release and i kept on we couldnt afford one,more important things to spend money on ect.
im glad its worth the money i spent!

OH is playstation mad, but when the xbox 360 was released we brought 2, one for him and one for my youngest boy as he had an xbox and wanted the newer one lol.

OH keeps saying he wants one but he aient bloody getting one, he`s worse than my son for computers. He can wait a little while lol.
