I am so terribly sorry for your loss, no parent ever expects to bury a child and there can be nothing that compares to the pain you must now be feeling.

My brother was killed when he was 24 and I remember my mother saying that all she could remember was not the strapping 6ft 3 man he was when he died, but the day she brought her new baby home from the hospital.

I am so glad he lives on in your grandaughter.

Im so sorry for your loss. My Mother has had epilepsy since 18, she is now 90, our fear when doesn't answer the phone is terrible so I can understand the worries you had.

Oh, my deepest sympathies to you! I have had a bit of your horror, and almost lost my OH. I cannot even begin to contemplate losing a child.

I am so sorry, it must be the hardest thing to lose a child. I am sure Anya will be of great comfort to you knowing that a part of him is still here. My granddaughter is epileptic it is a devastating illness. *hugs* to you.
