Fostering? Sorry no way, I dislike children and steer clear!
B&B - also no go, due to unfinished state of place plus planning regs. By the time I sorted that out, even if I had a finished house (which I can't afford to do) it would be the best part of a year, and I'm unlikely to get it as I live down a boreen (extremely narrow lane) and there would be a traffic issue in the minds of the council. Plus Deccy would definitely have to live in a kennel outside!
I am working away at the novel but that won't even be ready until the end of the year and as I am finding with the current one, it takes a while to get going.

I appreciate all suggestions, I've thought of a lot of them already, but keep 'em coming as I can't have thought of everything yet .... surely...

They've done it in other countries as well! Is there not an Irish version? They can only say no so I'd give it a go expecially as you previously lived in the UK. They keep asking for people!

sorry to hear all this is happening to you, just a thought could you try for as many jobs as possible that let you take Deccy to work with you ie kennel work or grooming etc? It might sound silly but if you could learn to groom it's something you could do from home too, even if your services only offer basic shave downs etc. I don't know but it's the only thing I can suggest, sorry again hun x
