wow, you guys really put so much time and effort into your puppy packs, I am seriously impressed.

When I got my patterdale terrier, all I got with him were his papers and some fleas lol

Excuse me, the insurance may be free but the food I don't scrounge off any company I buy it all myself and my last litter, well Bailey, not only went with 2.5kg of puppy food but I gave them another 2.5kg of food for their other dog.
I also forgot to add that I give copies of the parents health certificates as well.

Ooh some very good puppy packs here, has given me some food for thought!

Ok Isla came with:

5 gen pedigree (home made) with photos of both sire and dam
7.5kg bag of Arden Grange food
Vet bed
A very comprehensive list of advice regarding grooming, training, socialisation, vaccination and health of the ESS (worming, de-fleaing and hereditary disorders).
A copy of the MRD eye test done on the litter at 6 weeks old
Photocopies of health tests carried out on the parents.
Contact details
Contract
Oh and an Arden grange puppy pack too, can't remember what that contained, I suspect it was all eaten within days of her arrival!

Will probably do most of the above for Isla's hopeful future litter. Plus some ideas stolen from here and possibly some discount vouchers from a local training school if I can wangle some!

There is quite a good tick list inside the little booklets you get with both Pedigree and Buddies puppy packs about what you should try and expose your puppy to... we had great fun ticking them off with both Max and Murphy!

Maybe a reproduction of that with your own ideas on too?

Have done this before but here's what I got with mine.

With Charlie (I got him at 10 months) I got his bed, bowls, collar and lead and half a tin of dog food. Oh and half a box of conditioning tablets. Just 'his' things really from his previous home.

With Dusty who I got from a breeder I got some food from the bag she was using, in a wee food bag, enough for about 2 or 3 meals. A care/advice sheet. Her forms and paperwork.

With maddy I got the most, Off the top of my head (as I will probably forget something!) I got a bunch of photos sent via email as she grew up from birth. A bit of cheaper substitue for vet bed, not actually vet bed but it did last us about 18 months. A rope toy. A bowl. A red folder with all her paperwork in. A puppy contract. A copy of the clear health check and legal docking (it wasn't banned then) from the vet and also advice from the vet about her umbilical hernia which she was born with. Some food, again a little from the bag they were using and some treats. A book on Weims (which I already had, but still!) I think that's it.

Oh and 6 weeks free insurance I got with both the girls.

With my cat (I know not a pup but still!) I got a lovely Royal Canin tin full of goodies. Food, a kitten care book, a few information leaflets, vouchers, toys, a little teddy from her breeder, her paperwork, 12 weeks free insurance and vet checks all in a little blue folder with more leaflets and care sheets from the vet, 5 gen ped with her picture on it, all her vaccs were done, some pictures of her which were sent via email. Sound good? Never heard from her breeder since!
