Kate ~ Clever Little Girl – 2yo Black Greyhound

KATE

Kate is a 3 year old ex-racing greyhound girl. She is a little black lady who is quite dainty and is going to be so pretty once her coat gains a healthy sheen to it.

Kate is very new to our kennels and we are still assessing her personality. She needs a bit more time to settle as right now she is proving to be a fantastic Houdini and keeps escaping! She is a friendly, cheery little girl though, and seems to like a bit of mischief. She has not been tested with small dogs or cats and these can be carried out prior to adoption if required.



Kate has not been in a home environment before, so new owners will need to be a bit patient during the first couple of weeks and allow her time to settle in and learn the home rules. It usually takes 10-14 days for new greyhounds to start to settle down in a home, and really all they need is a bit of time and patience. This little escape artist may need a good secure fence to keep her in, though!


**UPDATE: SEPTEMBER 2010**

Kate has now travelled across to the UK where she is now waiting for her forever home. This lovely girl will be going in to foster care shortly where she can start to get used to living in a home for the very first time.

This lovely girl is currently being kennelled in Norfolk, UK. She is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-flea'd and wormed and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.

Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 70 greyhounds at any one time, in Ireland and the UK.

Each dog is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA.
