Launching the SRS Children's Storybook Competition!

The Springer Rescue Scotland (SRS) Children's Story Book

We at SRS love a good doggie story and are launching a story writing competition which is open to children aged 5 - 15. There are 3 age categories

Ages 5 - 7
Ages 8 - 11
Ages 12 -15

Stories can be about their own dog, a friend's dog or any dog! They should be no more than 500 words

The winners and runners-up will see their story in print and illustrated by photos of SRS dogs and some drawings by the very talented Connie Martin. The winner of each category will receive a published book.

So if you have kids and they like writing stories get those pens and pencils out and send your story to:-

The closing date for entries is 28th February 2012.

Donation of £3 would be very welcome as an entry fee!

what a fantastic idea - does it have to be about a springer ?? or will a staffie be ok
