Yorkie, Crossbreed, DOB young
Yorkie, Crossbreed, DOB young
Homing requirements: Yorkie needs a family who have the confidence to offer him a stable reassuring new start ... picking up with him from a kennelled situation and recognising his strengths as they appear within the home, helping him to settle and build new skills to achieve success out of the love offered. He is fluent with dogs outside, but needs training to ensure he retains this and achieves recall, if to come off lead.
Yorkie’s Video:

His Story: Found stray, unclaimed and fortunately the pound hung on in there ... he is being held temporarily for us until we have a kennel or foster space. He is neutered and being vax'd.
Advert: Yorkie isn't a 'Yorkie', but a chocoholic’s Yorkie; easy to handle, smooth and rich - very tempting and a real treat! Yorkie is a much sought after crossbreed, but our experience is people go out looking for a crossbreed and end up being trendy and seeking a designer dog. Yorkie isn't that. He is however, a perfect blend of everything good - just down on his luck as so many dogs are nowadays. Thrown out, as no longer the puppy they swooned over ... out on the streets to find his way in life.
Yorkie is in York. He will come to us as soon as we can transport him and have a kennel or foster space available. Assessments so far are indicating he is a fun dog, happy to meet and greet other dogs and would jump in anyone's car with the promise of love, warmth and stability.
"Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".

***PLEASE NOTE: We are a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs***.
