Remembering 9/11

Well today is the 8th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

So join with me remembering those who lost their lives on that day and those families and friends that lost loved ones.

Thinking of you all xx

I always remember because it was the day I found out I had 2 weeks left to live.

I can't imagine the horror the people in the towers and on the planes went through. I think about them and their families a lot.

I was thinking of those poor people today, we watched a couple of programmes at the beginning of the week and it was just so sad...I hope and pray that nothing ever happens like that again, its just beyond belief.

So glad you are still here Sarah.
I remember it too because I was curled up in a ball resting after an operation for cancer when it came on the news.

I can't imagine the feelings of all those involved and my thoughts are with them and their families.

Ah, and the dogs shut up in apartments and homes whose owners never came back.

Thank you for remembering. America knows who our real friends are. It seems all the English speakers look out for each other.

Glad you had nothing 9-9-9.

I was thinking about it this morning on my break at work. I remember when it happened, I was at school, and then in the weeks following we did lots of fundraising for NYPD. They sent us a Thank You, even though they were all so busy.

I couldn't even begin to imagine how those that lost are feeling.

Will never forget that day, I could not believe what I was seeing with my own eyes

I had went to New York last November and made a special trip to ground zero, you can never ever gain an idea of the size of that place until you stand there and see it for yourself...How they worked so hard to clear that up is a tribute to the New Yorkers!!

Elaine

I have lit my little candle for remberence
