amts your cage is very similar to ours so i don,t think he,ll notice the difference to be honest
it is good he is going from a big cage to a big cage
he kept looking at billy and molly as if to say "hey look at the size of this"

So the "size doesnt matter" isn't true?

I think it is important for him to have a rather large cage as he will be spending hours in it while we are at work. So better get the biggest one than a smaller one he wont be comfortable in right

amts that cage is fine,it is made for a macaw
the way you can tell if it is the right size is by putting him in,if he can turn round without catching any tail feathers on the bars then it is ok
he is back in his other home at the moment as he didn,t settle very well earlier,we will do the move slowly over a couple of days for him

I just bought the biggest cage So if he cant fit in there..... Well I´m in trouble then arent I

Did he get stressed earlier? Maybe I should make him a tape of me singing to calm him down? On second thought I´d better not The poor baby wont find peace for a week after that

Hope he´s ok and will settle in well

he was only stressed because it was all so new to him,he is so used to his other cage that it will take him time to get used to it,in a couple of days he will be loving it in their
amts he should be fine by time you get him home,he will be 4 weeks older and alot more confident

I honestly didn't realize how big he is, he is sooooo beautiful and I'm going to miss seeing him when he goes. But he is going to be as well loved with Amts as he is now. It's good to know.
Best Wishes. :smt049
