with my lab i found that the best way to curb her biting was to put my hand inside her mouth when she nipped put your hand in their mouth and keep it there for a couple of seconds she didnt like it ,this also worked on my brothers staff.you may get a few nips but thay dont like it.

oh, gosh! thnaks for this thread! I too have a young black lab X, and all tha thas been said is great, and will definitely take this on board!
