Trip....Otterhound, Vizsla, GWP (which is closer) Lurcher...I tell them she is a Cross and I have people swearing blind that she is a breed!

Well I don't know if this counts as everyone always knows what breed Ozzy is...............however they always assume he is female and a puppy and are quite shocked when I say he a boy who is nearly 8 years old

That is the biggest Cocker spaniel I have ever seen

I've never seen a golden retriever so white

That's a Cumberland is't it. No it's a Clumber Spaniel. Yes that's it, a Cumberland spaniel

My Belgian Shepherd Kim is usually a collie cross or a German Shepherd.
Don't usually have id problems with my Dalmatian but she was called a Great Dane puppy once! One little tot in a pushchair pointed and proudly exclaimed "Mummy, doggy in my book, Maldation!" I knew what he meant, lol!

Since my dog is a mutt, there are a huge variety of guesses and many of those could be right (BC, Australian Shepherd, Golden retriever, Flat-coated retriever, and Lab are the most common). We believe she is BC/Golden Retriever due to looks and personality.

But my favourite "omg wtf" one was the time someone looked at her and said "Newfie puppy?"

Um...no.
