My plants have arrived

And I'm a little disappointed. I don't know what I was expecting but the butterfly acer looks very small and abit worse for wear, having been in transit for nearly a week! They've advised me to plant them all out and see how they go under the guarantee so fingers crossed.

Now, the chilli plants have come in 6 plugs, again unexpected but I was wondering how many I can put in one pot? Or do I have to have separate pots for each one?

Me very confused.

my hardy fuschias just arrived today too - and sometimes the plants do look a bit straggly - but honestly Em, I've never had one fail me yet.

Chilli plants in one pot? Depends how big they grow and how big your pot. Check how large they'll grow and judge it from there.

Depends on the size of the pot but I would only put one to each pot.
You will be surprised at how your other plants take off once you get them planted on.
Good luck, we need to see some piccies.

Have you got any large-ish containers - ice-cream tubs etc?

You could plant them out in these for now (remember to drill/poke holes for drainage)

2-litre coke/lemonade type bottles cut in half, with the bottom half as the pot?

Not really. I've only got some seedling pots and a few watering cans.

I'm also wondering where the hell to put them all as Woody does like to have a chomp as he walks past my plants! He's getting better at ''no'' and ''leave it'' but he is still an opportunist!!
