How do i know if Mily's got worms? (SBT)

Hi Guys,

I think Mily's got worms....she was shuffling on her bum yesterday, so i bought her a worming tablet which she could have straight away. I didnt notice her going for a number 2 but i'm not sure if this is the problem.

She was shuffling on her bum a lil bit this morning and started choking a bit too.

Can anyone offer me any advice?

Thanks
A worried Mum!!!

Dragging the bottom on the floor is a classic sign of over-full anal glands. It would be worth getting your vet to check the glands & empty them if required - unless you know how to do it yourself.

It is not difficult (smelly though!). If you have never done it before it is best to get your vet or groomer to show you exactly how to do it.

I agree it does seem to be the anal gland problem. I put one teaspoon of Bran on the food daily and it really helps. Vets advice.
I worm my dogs every 3 months. Again vet recommended.
Best Wishes,
