I am actually thinking of insuring Benji with this company because they quoted £9.34 and that seems quite reasonable and I suppose its better to be safe than sorry. They certainly like ringing my phone anyway (stupid me put my phone number in the quote and now they keep ringing )

did a quote for blackie - 21month old collie cross

premium was £101.88 but i felt the cover left a lot to be desired.

£7000 vet fees
£600 lost
£1250 holiday in europe
free membership of missing pet

but the excess was a killer £75.00 or 15% of bill which ever is the greater.

doubt if i would go for this

Freya is a 16 week old Northern Inuit.. had to class her as mixed breed as no entry for a NI. Was quoted 11.04 a month.. annual premium 132.48. I would imagine it would be more for her being a pedigree..

I wonder why yours was that much more? does the price you pay for the dog come into it? because anyone can say anything really.

My policy is up for renewal this month from Pet Plan who we have been with ever since we got Aston, for this year it was £15 a month £180 for the year,I thought this was pretty expensive,so decided to do some searching.

Finally settled on a policy from More Than, it wasn't the cheapest I found but the price isn't everything, and it is pretty cheap at £6.79 a month £81 for the year.

A big difference in the two prices there and the benefits from More Than seem much better, plus you get a years free membership with Petback Protect,so we are happy
