The Moonster has landed!

Some of you may know that I'm currently working in Vietnam, fell in love with a poorly treated street dog and agonised for months over what to do with him when I leave. We finally decided to try and raise the funds to bring him home. I don't want to re-type the whole story here (it's long!), but anyone interested please lok up my introduction post for more details.

Anyway yesterday we finally did it. I put Moon on a plane to the UK. The whole check in process at Hanoi airport was horribly stressful, not fun at all and I'd never want to do it again. However I just got the text to say that Moon has landed in the UK, been cleared by customs and the kennels will be picking him up soon. My partner Adam will be going to see him as soon as visiting hours later today allow.

I'm soooooooooooo incredibly relieve he got there safely, I'vebeen a nervous wreck for te last 24hours worrying about him. So that's it, today is the first day of the rest of his life! I'm miss him tons already but I'll be home soon and we can all be happy

How fantastic!! When are coming home? I'm sure he will have a lovely forever home now with you. Tell OH lots of pics please ASAP

Aww I so pleased. Well done you for giving Moon a new life. We do want loads of pics and I hope you get home really soon to see him, and of course Adam!
