I dont work for the Public sector and I find your comments VERY Demoralising and Demeaning to the people who have trained hard and work hard for each and every one of us in this country.

I've been through redundancy before and I know how frightening it is, wondering how your going to pay your bills and keep a roof over your head.

so think before you speak, your on the right track in upsetting a lot of people who dont deserve it.

No indeed - you obviously have little to no respect for people who have to work flipping hard through reams of red tape in order to do what is required of them.

Sadly our taxes will go to whatever they are needed for....whether it is jobs, education, benefits for others, healthcare etc - I have never been able to specify when I have paid mine.

People work hard in lots of jobs...................why should the public sector be exempt from streamlining.

I do believe I said that before......going round in circles now.

From what I have read - no-one has said they should be exempt - what people seem to be finding offensive is the suggestion that these people do not do any 'proper' work or get extra benefits as has been suggested by yourself.

They never have been exempt!

Its about the way jobs are being lost, without thinking about what is needed and whats not!

when your school needs specialist help and there isnt any what will happen??

well, it could cause a catalogue of problems including them affecting you and your child.
you wont be crowing about it then, will you?

It is said these cuts are the largest any government has implemented since the last cuts in the 1920's equivalent to these cuts. Anyone remember their history lessons ?

We then had a huge depression during the 1930's. Millions out of work.

no, the line is the biggest cuts since WW2.

also, the casuses of the Great Depression were said to be bank failures and over debtedness.
this gov is dealing with the latter, so you could now argue they have learnt from history.
