So would you also say we should all go and look at sites showing graphic pornography to understand and hate it more? And what about terrorist sites showing beheadings shall we all go and look at those too so we can understand it better ? where do you draw the line!

Regarding the links, they cannot be posted on the forum. However I guess it is down to the indivdual poster whether they want to PM the url to anyone > therefore giving the site the exposure it craves, or say no I'm sorry I don't want to.

Forums do benefit more from 'hits'; the busier a forum is, the more people are inclined to think it's 'ok and may want to be part of it, thats why we show the 'who's online' bit ourselves, because it intices others. Advert sites etc don't benefit in the same way - hence Mini's reservations.

I don't think Mini has the URL anyway and just commented on another similar site she stumbled across.

Definately agree with Mini about not giving them exposure though - but can also understand Borderdawns curiosty, although I wouldn't give a young lad the URL! Just in case he's not strong enough to see how sick it really is.

You draw the line where ever you want to Mini, you dont need to be told what you have to look at. Porn sites etc.. as you mention do not concern me in the slightest, (well they do concern me, but I have no inclination to look) I have absolutely no interest in them at all and therefore would not participate in a discussion about them, holds no interest for me, although I think its very wrong, very wrong.

Dog fighting is something I am concerned about and something I would like to see stopped period, therefore I think a better knowledge of a forum that appears to promote it can only help with knowing just what does go on. Don't forget the forum mentioned is in a country where Dog fighting is allowed, so they are doing nothing wrong. I saw no evidence of UK people fighting dogs, although of course we know it goes on.

This type of subject is often raised on dog forums and causes some strong feelings, I understand yours Mini, I hope you understand mine.
Dawn.

What Country was that? I was sure that it's pretty much outlawed everywhere now? Quite sure it is outlawed in Pakistan as there was a big thing about it a while back... unless my minds going

One link I was posted has references to Russia and the Ukraine, its perfectly legal in some areas there, also Brazil I believe.
