Towels

I need some advice please

When hubby went in hospital to have his op, i bought a bath towel and a hand towel in Black, he took them in hospital and when he used them they put black bits on his body.

So i've washed them about 20 times and they are still the same, i'm thinking of binning them now LOL

So, what can i do to stop them putting black bits everywhere.

You might try an old carpet-fitter trick that we used to use when we finished laying a new carpet. Lightly rub over the surface with an oldish junior hacksaw blade. Gets all the loose fibres off perfectly.

<Now back to more manly discussions for me>

I wonder where you go the towels from Lou and would it be worth taking them back?? I know that some shops would listen to your complaint and refund or exchange.

I have to say that would drive me nuts

Thanks Sal I keep washing them on their own

Thanks Louise13 I'll try that

Thanks GSDLover I've never heard that one before LOL, I'll give it a go

Thanks Darasa It's a nightmare isn't it? Their really nice towels too! It'll be a shame if i have to bin them.

Thanks Minnie I got them from Matalan.....I might e-mail them and ask if they've had any other complaints about them.
