Are you cautious about any particular breed??

Out with the boxers this evening and came across a lady walking her Westie she was really nervous of my dogs even though they were playing nicely with her dog.. we started talking and she told me that she had always been scared of boxers has know real reason but the way they look ...
Its funny but the only dogs i am really cautious of are JRT's ...

I'm not cautious about any particular breed for myself.....

But i'm catious about small breed dogs (mainly terriers) off lead because they are the ones that always attack Teagan

I did used to be scared of GSD's as was attacked when younger by one, but working in kennels soon sorted that out lol

I'm sorry to say I will never stroke a Daschund ever again! I got proper hand ripped apart by one when I was younger - and it was a friendy dog just apparently a bit grumpy that day I'm actually really wary of them, god forbid if I'm ever out walking with mine and I see one offlead...I haven't yet

Akita's. Had a few problems with one locally and now get very worried if I see one, and certainly wouldn't try to stroke one even if the owner said it was ok

Shar Peis. Every one we get in the kennels is aggressive to both people and dogs. We've had about 3 or 4 and they seem to all have very similar temperaments, aggressive to the point of throwing themselves at the door when you walk past, snarling. They're a real problem to feed and only the owner of the place will walk them, he won't let any of the staff. I don't really like to judge a whole breed together though, if one came in that seemed friendly enough, I wouldn't be scared.

None that I can think of, really - I'm careful of any dog I don't know, but that's just sense, I think. :P Only dog I've ever had a bad experience with was a black lab, but I'm fine with him and the rest of the labrador population now.

On the other hand, I am cautious around Boxers - my friend and her family have a bunch of gorgeous Boxers, and I've fallen victim to the infamous Boxer bounce many times. I love 'em really.

Good answer. Same here, especially as I have a reactive dog.
