how do you?

HOW DO YOU THANK THE VET THAT SAVED YOUR DOGS LIFE?

As many of you know my jazzie(2 year old irish setter) was very poorly this time last week and after many tests and scans and x-rays at the specialists they found out that she had a huge abcuss, which then had to be removed.

i have brought some cards for the vets and the specialists but can't think of anything to write in them - the best i've come up with so far is ' we can't thank you enough'.
i don't know if this is enough though.

any ideas?????????????????????/

Anything you write will be great, they dont expect thanks for doing their job, so the fact that you have bought them a card shows them how grateful you are

hi i am a vet nurse and just wanted to add that we dont expect anything for helping animals but when we do get cards it makes our day and reminds us that we are appreciated!!! its not the amount of words you put just what you put, just a simple thank you for saving jazzie is enough! hope this helps you

thank you so much, that was helpful.

i know when i'm at work (carer for the elderly) people are really thankful - and yes i'm doing my job, it just makes you realise how much it means to people!

thanks again.

We got our vet and staff at the surgery chocolates and flowers and wrote him a letter explaining how important our dog was and how grateful we were to him.

When Len and then Mya were neutered, I bought some choccies, which the girls (nurses) hid from Dean (vet) I think they did let him have a couple in the end. It's always nice to show your appreciation for the "bigger" visits, I think, and it was only some Cadbury's Hero's so didn't break the bank

I don't think it matters what you say either. Just taking the trouble to send a card tells them everything they need to know

When my Willows life was saved, I got a big card and Willow wrote it to them in doggy speak, [ ok I helped him *cough* ], and it was signed with a real paw print.
When he had his final check-up, I walked him in with the card pinned to his harness so Willow himself was `giving` it to the vet

I will be grateful for the rest of my days to all the vets and nurses, and the lovely receptionist for keeping me going with coffee`s and encouragement during what was a horrendously worrying time several years ago now.
Without their skill, care, and sheer determination, I would not have my Willow laying happily by my feet right now.

I doubt those concerned will ever see this, but as I cant reach enough people by shouting from a rooftop, Grant, Norrie and Almond vets practise, in Bedale, Nth Yorks, no amount of thanks will ever express my gratitude
