Video Cameras

Can anyone recommend a good video camera?
We are looking to buy one, but would like some recommendations first!

I like the Handycam style (smaller the better), and I also like the idea of the new DVD cameras!

ps if u ever want to buy a TV get John Lewis to price match rgbdirect.... John Lewis give u a free five year warranty!
