They are Accrington Bricks and the house was built in 1939 when my mum moved in it with her mum and dad when she was 14 years old

yes. sorry I should have said Accrington common stock tend to abreviate too often

Sorry Mo I didn't mean to sound like I was getting at you or anything I don't know one brick from another but I remember when we extended the kitchen a few years ago that we had to get some more accrington bricks from an old mill that was knocked down to fill in a doorway that used to be the coal place (sounds ancient doesn't it )

Aww thanks Hannah, its not that beautiful but its rather colourful at the moment. My o/h is a gardener by trade but it would be nicer if he could spend a BIT more time on my garden rather than everybody elses He just does about an hour a week on it (including the back garden)
