histiocytoma??? (is it possible for a histiocytoma to develop on the ear?)

I have been grooming my Rosie, when I brushed her ears she cried. When I looked she has a small lump, which is tender to touch and because I hadn't noticed it before I think I may have caught it with the brush as it was bleeding slightly.

I've had a look back through the forum and found a few posts on Hisitocytomas? Is it possible to get this on the ears?

I will try and get a photo later, plus I will be booking an appointment with the vet for sure.

This is the best I could get of it, it's smaller than a 5p but still looks sore, plus she does scratch it quite a bit. It's also wet because I just bathed it with hibiscrub.

Hiya
Murphy had one on his bum a couple of years ago and my mates dobe had one on his leg at the same time -The vet removed it and sent it for testing and it was fine -he reckons they are very common and mostly harmless

As you know, Teagan has had 2 within 6 months (both on her feet), and they have been removed at my request, and healed fine

Good luck at the vets!
