I wouldn't go on holiday without Poppy! Couple of years ago we went to Ross on Wye and stayed in a cottage that had an enclosed garden and also an enclosed 2 acre paddock for dogs. The owner lived in the cottage next door and had 3 dogs of his own, so company for Poppy. We booked this via Hoseasons.

Last year we went to the Peak District and stayed in a cottage with an enclosed garden. We booked this one through cottages4you

I wouldn't consider anywhere that didn't have an enclosed garden.

I can't imagine going on holiday without Poppy, I'd miss her too much.

I want to be able to go exactly where I want, when I want without being tied down by dogs. Holidays are about relaxing and destressing and I cant do that with 4 dogs kicking about.
Ditto. I feel like the odd one out saying that!

For me, holidays are about escaping reality for one, maybe two weeks a year. One or two weeks out of the year where I don't have to pick up dog poo and have my 'normal' routine is BLISS. The dog likes having his own little holiday at the dog sitters too...she lives out in the sticks and has acreage so he is in canine heaven.

Always take our dogs with us everywhere; hotels, campsites etc usually to the south of France and we end up sleeping in a big pile in the back of an old builders van- luxury what's that?

We never manage more than a week away usually - we still have to get a house sitter for the rest of the animals, so we end up staying in this country - hence why we take the dogs!

If we could ever afford to go abroad, then we'd put the boys in kennels, but since we can't, we might as well take them with us!!

We're taking Bryan and a foster dog if we have one at the time. Very excited!

It's a small world. We go to the same cottage on Skye as Brundog.

Skye loves to sit on the table and look out to sea.

you look like you got slightly better weather than us !! We just went once as there were too many cows and sheep in the field next door that Bruno liked to "talk " to !!!!

it was a lovely cottage though.- the road to it was wild !!

Some amazing places. It`s lovely to see the dogs enjoying their holiday too. There seems to be a lot of nice places in scotland.
