Ohhh it all looks lovely, and the lady sounds super nice and it looks all so clean and shiney... it is so great to find good boarding as although you miss them at least you know they are safe and sound and loved...

That must be some consolation to you although I am sure it will do little to alleviate the pain you must be feeling at leaving your little one .

When you live alone with just a little dog for company being parted from them is very painful.

Yes people tend to see me as a tough cookie but I can assure you I am nothing at all like that when it comes to that scrap of a dog. You are so right in what you say - when you spend 24/7 with your dog all the dog's life you do develop a very special bond. And (certainly in my case) you end up with the sort of dog you 'wanted' without having to undertake any special training. You just sort of grow on each other!

I employed my latest solution for the bumpy ride over there (lot of it on farm track) by singing to her almost all the way! Works like magic. Really glad there's not much traffic on the roads here though as windows are usually down. And my voice well ... let's just say when I was in Grammar School we all had to be in the class choir but some of us had to stand in the back row and mime. I was one of those!
