Apparently it`s OK to abandon an old lame dog in a lay-by. You get a slap on the wrist and a small fine.
I`m glad the paper published names and photos though.

Disgusting---lets hope the people that know them keep a close eye on them and the paper finds out if they get another dog.

I have to say that for all the stick the DM gets it does a good job with some things animal related.

You have to wonder what on earth their defence could have been - according to the witness account it could be nothing but deliberate abandonment.Bizarre decision from the court.
I knew I'd seen that face before.He's been on The Jeremy Kyle Show.

What a revolting pair, great that the paper has named and shamed them though, at least everyone will recognise them now. As for the judge... words fail me.
