Mini Ipod Help!

My daughter bought a mini ipod in Florida and is now trying to put some songs onto it from her computer. The computer says the songs are on the ipod but it doesn't show up on the ipod and when she tries to get music on it just shows a blank space as if there are none on it.

Would an American Ipod work okay over here?

When you put the songs on it just keeps flashing Do not disconnect and it said on the computer to restart the computer which we did and then it flashed onto where it said music briefly and then said Do not disconnect again - though I don't know why because it isn't doing anything

Have you installed itunes and put your music onto it?

You get the do not disconnect usually when the music is being transferred to the ipod.

Yep ive downloaded that but i`ll try again. What kind of ipod do you have???

When i plug my ipod in the usb port the do not disconnect comes up straight away also when its charging.

It plays games and stuff so it cant be the fact that its from the America.

It is the mini I have too

After I put the itunes software disc into the pc I got an update for itunes. Did you get the update?

Have you tried starting again and copying a CD straight into itunes? Once I have added new CDs I just plug in the ipod and it does it all itself and just takes a few minutes.

There should be a disc in the box with the itunes software on it.

You can also get it from
