Help with finding electoral roll

Hello,

Does anyone know the site address where I can check the electorial roll for Englend?

What it is I know a friend of mine has moved away not very far really but I have forgotten his address.

Your help would be appreciated - I'm not spying on any of you!

The last i knew you had to pay to access the electora list on line, there is 118118.com or 192.com that also tells you how many ppl of a certain name are on electoral list, but you need to pay a fee to access it am sure

Hi thanks for the links but I have tried them and you do need to pay at 192.com but the other one just kept coming up with the same page of useless info.

AFAIK the electoral register is available for view at your local council office, although it isn't supposed to be used to look up other people.

192.com probably don't have full register data as it is against the law for them to use it in that way. However, they cross-reference it with other freely available data, so may have people who don't appear on the electoral register.
