Hi only just read this thread there is a home in Bishops Stortford,they nearly always have staffie pups or older dogs,you may of heard of it as you come from Harlow,it is Foxdells,you can find their number in yellow pages under Animal Rescue Charities.
I have a neighbour who rescued her 2nd Staffie from them,and he is lovely and I have walked a couple from there.

had lovely chat with a lady who work there the pups have gone mum too [ she was only 10 months ] which is great , but she has a 12 month rotty brought in expecting any day so we had long chat about her were on waiting list now i just wanted to say they found homes that makes me smile
