I feed My Golden retriever who is 30kgs, Skinners kibble.

A 15Kg bag is about £ 22, and last a month

Not sure how much a tin of dog food is, but using Skinners works out less than a £ 1 a day.

Also it probably lasts longer than a month because some days he has left overs.

I just order it online and they leave it by my back gate.

Wina lot isn't rich, it's rubbish, that's why she's having runny poos. Butchers tripe is ok, gluten free and cheap too. Other than that i'd go with Hevvur's suggestions or just add raw mince instead.

If you want a good wet food that is reasonably priced, then try the Wainwrights wet food - be sure to get the trays NOT the pouches.

Avoid Pedigree, Winalot and anything that is full of cereals and 'derivatives' of any type!

Other decent wet foods:

Naturediet

Nature's Harvest

Lily's Kitchen

Lukullus

It's been many years since I fed a dog 'tinned' food. However, going back more than 20 yrs to when I did - I fed Chappie (with equal amount biscuits) and the dog was in EXCELLENT condition!

I've just switched to feeding raw from Butchers - my pug did pretty well on it (lovely glossy coat, alright-ish poos) and his breeder swore by it. Dogs seem to love it, too!

I feed Butchers but only the tripe or tripe and chicken. I fed Chappie original when she had colitis it was the only thing she could tolerate.

Wainwrights trays are excellent but i have two dogs one 24kgs and one 30kgs and it was working out too expensive.

Both of mine are fine on the Butchers,i feed Vitalin sensitive kibble with a little tinned coz the fussy ******s won't eat it dry

Do you feed Beta maintenance and winalot at the same time?
If so you may be overdoing it as Beta maintenance is a 'complete' food.

I have a Goldie who I've always fed on dry complete. I've just changed his dry to CSJ & he's doing brilliantly on it. As he is now elderly and needs a little encouragement at times to eat, he has one meal of CSJ a day and one meal wet. The wet food I use is Natures Diet or if I've run out Wainwrights-both are trays. If you search online & buy in bulk you can get some good deals.

Before I switched to raw i fed my lot on butchers tripe tins.
A good wet food is wainwrights trays.
Mine now have naturediet when I can't feed raw, when we go away for example and its a very good food.
